After leaving her high-profile fiancé at the altar, she uncovers the shocking truth about the man she nearly married—truth that could ruin her life. With the press on her tail, the only person she can trust is Ryan Jameson, her political opponent and former boyfriend.
Army doctor and LDS convert Brandon Shepherd shares his sister Kristen’s talent for keeping a level head, and his newfound faith gives him steady strength during times of turmoil. But when he and fellow doctor Rachel Fields are seized as Iraqi prisoners of war, he faces a crisis of personal integrity that may cost him his life.
In this gripping tale of unlikely heroes and unexpected romance, two siblings must risk everything for freedom. And in the heat and sand of enemy territory, they discover that all’s fair in love, even if not in war.
Loved it! Great book, edge-of-your seat suspense, couldn’t put it down. 🙂
I was frankly disappointed by this book. The pacing was all off — Bellon tried to do too much and didn’t give herself enough time to fully develop either the characters or the plot.
I Really loved this book!!! I thoroughly enjoy fiction that takes us into the Middle East to see and understand what’s going on. A hard-to-put down book.
Amazing book! Edge of your seat action. Loved it! It was well researched and gave you a great insight into a soldiers point of view. I also loved that there were multiple well developed characters that you could really relate to. Definitely would recommend it to anyone to read!
I spent eight years as a military spouse, and two as a military contractor. Bellon’s ability to place a fictitious situation smack in the middle of a real-world conflict with seamless transition is impressive! I felt drawn to her vivid characters and interested in the outcome of all storylines. Truly one of the most enjoyable reading experiences I’ve had in a long time. Kudos to the author and I can’t wait to read something she writes in the near future!
Julie,
All’s Fair was an exciting book that kept me on the edge and could not put it down. I gained a greater understanding of what the soldiers are going through in the war. Would definitely recommend it to others. I love that you keep the romance in there along with the suspence. Your books get better and better.
